Your unique path to success begins with remembering who you are.
What does this mean?
Throughout life, many of us forget who we are at a deeper level.
Maybe a gradeschool teacher told us we'll never make it as a singer, a parent told us to "be realistic," whenever we spoke of our dreams, or a boss consistently dismissed our ideas to the point that we started questioning them ourselves.
If we let others dictate how we should think, what we're capable of, or how we should act, over time this can chip away at our confidence—making us lose touch with who we know ourselves to be.
You are the creator of your own reality
The truth is, you are free to create whatever type of life you most want to be living.
If you're building a business, the path to success is a path that is unique to you—it is up to you to discover it.
Kumara will help you discover your own unique path to success.
Discovering your unique path begins with remembrance
Building a business is your chance to call the shots. You're in charge now, which means self-trust is essential.
You will face setbacks.
Your convictions will be challenged.
At times, you will doubt whether it's all going to work out.
The key to staying on track starts with consistently remembering who you are at the deepest levels.
That's why Step 1 of Kumara is "Remember who you are."
The Remember Who You Are exercise.
For this exercise, open a journal to a blank page.
At the top of that page, write: "My River Self"
2 aspects of self…
In Kumara, we talk about 2 states of energy.
The River represents motion and action.
The Lake represnts stillness and presence.
Similarly, you have 2 aspects of yourself.
Your River Self is the version of you who exists here in physical reality. This is the version of you who takes physical action towards your goals.
Your Lake Self is the version of you who exists in your mind. It might not seem like it right now, but this version of you is free to become anything that you can imagine.
Creating new possibilities in your life begins with imagining yourself experiencing them
Take a moment to tune into your Lake Self.
Ask yourself, "If I could be anyone, who would I be?"
Think about how you saw yourself when you were younger—before anyone convinced you not to reach for your dreams.
For the next 5 minutes, set any doubt aside, and connect to a version of yourself who has the potential to become anything.
Noone is judging.
Noone is watching.
Set a timer, and journal about this version of yourself who isn't limited by anything that has ever happened to you, or anything anyone has ever said about you.
Pause now to do the exercise
Did you do the exercise?
If not, pause reading now, and go do it. I promise you will experience a shift.
What did you experience?
In the Kumara program, we will practice returning to this remembrance for 5 weeks, and deepening your experience of it every time.
This will create the foundation to pursuing your goals with greater ease and less effort, and help you create the life you most want to be living.
